Molly’s Tamales

Over ten successful years, Molly's Tamales remains a humble restaurant committed to crafting flavorful Tex-Mex meals out of quality ingredients. Owned by a woman named Molly, naturally, and her husband, Molly's Tamales creates a welcoming ambience to make all diners feel they are eating at a friend's home. This level of care also translates into the restaurant's food, which features extensive gluten-free and vegetarian options along with organic ingredients. Instead of using lard, Molly's tamales are made with oil to make them lower in fat and sodium. As for toppings, the tamales can be ordered with traditional toppings such as black beans, green chili cheese, shredded pork, chicken and cheese, and spicy beef. More unique offerings include cactus, spicy salmon, vegan toppings, and dessert toppings. You can also order a half or whole dozen tamales to go for at-home entertaining.

Lenny’s Burger Shop: Drive-Through to the ’50s

While its popularity has now expanded it to three locations, Lenny's Burger Shop originally started as a modest drive through in Glendale. Despite his success, the owner of Lenny's still prides himself on focusing on every detail of the business. Lenny has had a hand in all of the locations and trained many of the employees in customer service. His simple and detailed-oriented approach, though, really shines through in the food. Using fresh ingredients, Lenny's serves up all American comfort food for affordable prices.  Customers build their own burgers, starting with number of patties then choose toppings or select from favorites like Garlic Mushroom Swiss, Cowboy Burger, or Mexican Burger. Other guilty pleasure options include chicken strips, chili cheese dogs, corn dogs, and jumbo kraut dogs. Naturally you have to add a side of fries, cheese fries, or onion rings, then wash it all down with Lenny's legendary milkshakes.
